Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Director Stephen D. Dackin have announced the launch of a new Statewide Attendance Dashboard, a public tool designed to provide fast, transparent, and easy-to-use attendance data to help reduce chronic absenteeism and support student success.
Updated weekly, the dashboard allows users to track attendance trends and view chronic absenteeism rates at the state, district, school, and grade level, enabling earlier identification of challenges and more timely support for students.
The Management Council played a key role in building this tool in partnership with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network. This work reflects what’s possible when Ohio’s education and technology partners come together with a shared goal: ensuring every student has the opportunity to show up, stay engaged, and succeed.
