ITCs
Serving Education, Government, and Non-Profit Organizations
As non-profit public agencies created by Ohio legislature, Ohio’s sixteen Information Technology Centers (ITCs) work collaboratively as the Ohio Education Computer Network to serve over 1.8 million students in 1,000+ public school districts, career centers, and community schools. As internet Service Providers for Ohio PreK-12 schools, they provide high-speed, scalable internet access that meets and exceeds the online learning needs of their districts.
ITCs offer a wide range of programs and services that meet the technology needs of Ohio’s school districts. Among an ITC’s core services are EMIS, fiscal, internet connectivity, library automation, and student information systems, as well as:
- Cost-efficient volume purchasing
- Customized technology solutions
- Direct connection to OARnet
- Efficient local collaboration
- Offsite backup and disaster recovery
- Private internet connectivity
- Responsive support services
- World-class cybersecurity
In addition to Ohio’s PreK-12 education community, ITCs have served Ohio government agencies, non-profit organizations, and committees with efficient and reliable services for over four decades.
