EMIS (Education Management Information System) was launched as a means of capturing uniform financial and student data from Ohio’s schools. A-Sites – which soon became known as “DA-Sites” (Data Acquisition Sites) offered districts training and support for EMIS. DA-Sites were instrumental in the process of managing EMIS data for Ohio’s schools.
