Ohio’s sixteen Information Technology Centers (ITCs) work collaboratively as the OECN to serve over 1.8 million students in 1,000+ school districts, career centers, community schools, and educational service centers. As internet service providers for Ohio PreK-12 schools, they meet and exceed national standards for providing students with internet access.
ITCs offer a wide range of programs and services that meet the technology needs of Ohio’s school districts. The core services of an ITC are:
- EMIS — state-mandated data reporting
- Fiscal services
- Internet connectivity
- Library automation
- Student records management
